Resident Liaison and Repairs Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Resident Liaison and Repairs Lead to join our Property Services team in Croydon. You will be the primary point of contact for residents, contractors and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of repairs and improvement works.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the key link between residents, contractors and internal departments throughout the repairs lifecycle.
• Manage sensitive cases such as damp, mould, disrepair claims and ensure compliance with Awaab’s Law and HHSRS standards.
• Coordinate and monitor repair schedules, prioritising vulnerable residents and high‑risk issues.
• Maintain accurate case records and produce regular reports for the Repairs Manager.
• Support residents with clear, empathetic communication and provide updates on progress.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of damp, mould, housing standards and resident safety.
• Experience working in a housing repairs environment.
• Knowledge of Awaab’s Law, the Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS) and disrepair processes.
• Excellent communication skills, especially for sensitive conversations.
• Strong organisational and case‑management abilities, with the capacity to meet deadlines.
• Basic DBS check and a full UK driving licence (own vehicle preferred).
