Residential Conveyancer – Property Law Specialist

About the role

Our client, a modern law firm with a strong reputation, is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its growing Residential Property team in South Shields. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload of residential transactions, delivering high‑quality service in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle residential conveyancing from instruction to completion, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Process transfers of equity, remortgages, new‑build transactions, shared‑ownership and Help to Buy deals.
• Maintain and develop client relationships, liaising with solicitors, lenders and other third parties.
• Ensure efficient progress of matters and provide outstanding client care throughout each transaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing an independent residential conveyancing caseload.
• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Legal Executive or experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities with a commercial, client‑focused approach.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team; existing introducer relationships are advantageous but not essential.
