Residential Conveyancing Solicitor – Licensed Conveyancer

About the role

G2 Legal Limited is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join its growing property team in Colchester. The role offers a hybrid working model and a supportive environment that leverages modern case‑management technology.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including freehold and leasehold sales, new‑build transactions, transfers of equity, remortgages, shared ownership and complex technical matters.
• Collaborate with specialist support teams handling quotations, post‑completion work and administration.
• Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with file reviews to maintain high technical standards and help shape departmental growth.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with solid residential conveyancing experience.
• Proven ability to manage cases from instruction through to completion.
• Comfortable handling both straightforward and complex transactions.
• Commercially aware, collaborative and eager to adopt legal technology.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of residential conveyancing law and practice.
• Ability to use modern case‑management systems.
