Residential Property Lawyer – Essex

About the role

We are seeking a Residential Property Lawyer to join our thriving Essex office. The successful candidate will handle a diverse portfolio of residential conveyancing matters while working closely with clients, agents and lenders. This is a full‑time position within a well‑established property team known for its efficiency and client service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Handle transfers of equity and re‑mortgages.
• Oversee new‑build and shared‑ownership transactions.
• Provide general residential property advice to clients.
• Coordinate with solicitors, lenders and estate agents to ensure smooth transactions.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in residential conveyancing.
• Proven ability to manage a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with a client‑focused approach.
• Team‑player who thrives in a fast‑moving transactional environment.
