Residential Property Lawyer – Full‑time, Frome

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Lawyer to join our client’s office in Frome on a full‑time, permanent basis. The role involves managing a diverse residential conveyancing caseload and delivering high‑quality client service.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage a full caseload of sales, purchases, transfers and new builds.
• Advise clients, provide quotes and keep them updated throughout the process.
• Conduct property searches, draft legal documents and perform ownership research.
• Handle routine correspondence and ensure compliance with firm procedures and regulatory standards.
• Meet targets for file completion, revenue generation and operational efficiency.
• Promote the firm and develop business networks both internally and externally.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential conveyancing.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a client‑focused approach.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage a busy workload with attention to detail.

Required skills

• Familiarity with case management systems.
