Residential Property Paralegal – Full/Part‑time (Malmesbury)

About the role

We are seeking a Residential Property Paralegal to join our supportive team in Malmesbury. This position offers the chance to develop legal expertise in residential conveyancing while taking on increasing responsibility.

Key responsibilities

• Assist fee earners with sales, purchases, remortgages and equity transfers.
• Prepare contracts, leases and other property documents using case‑management and digital platforms.
• Draft routine correspondence, maintain accurate case files and handle client queries.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, solicitors and third parties to progress matters efficiently.
• Support financial transactions, coordinate with Accounts and perform risk/compliance checks.
• Open new files, provide quotes, monitor outstanding matters and take ownership of workload.
• Prepare completed files for storage and perform general administrative duties.
• Provide reception cover and assist with office tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in residential conveyancing (paralegal, legal assistant or similar).
• Organised with the ability to manage a varied workload.
• Confident communicator with clients, estate agents and professionals.
• Detail‑oriented when preparing legal documentation.
• Proactive team player eager to learn and develop legal knowledge.
• Capable of working independently while seeking guidance when required.
