Resourcing Advisor (Temporary)

About the role

Join a dynamic People Team in Manchester’s city centre as a Resourcing Advisor on a temporary contract. You will support the public services client by delivering proactive, inclusive recruitment services and helping managers meet their staffing needs.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to managers on recruitment and selection, ensuring fairness and consistency.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes, designing campaigns that attract high‑quality talent.
• Analyse resource plans and collaborate with managers to meet staffing requirements.
• Coach and train managers to improve their recruitment skills and promote best practices.
• Use social media and other channels to engage candidates and promote the organisation as an employer of choice.
• Contribute to the development of apprenticeship programmes and future talent pipelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in resourcing or HR support, preferably within the public sector.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment legislation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Highly organised with the capacity to manage conflicting priorities.
• Proactive mindset with a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
