Restaurant Host - Il Bambini Club

About the role

The Hoxton, Shoreditch is looking for a passionate Host for its Il Bambini Club restaurant, which serves seasonal pizzas, fresh pasta and Italian-style drinks in a lively space with a bar and open kitchen. The host leads a small team of hosts by example, keeps them motivated and confident, and turns every guest into a regular.

Key responsibilities

• Create a culture of recognising and delighting guests throughout the team, and make guests feel welcome
• Lead the team of hosts by example, keeping them involved, motivated and supported
• Manage the restaurant's bookings and table allocation across the day and for the week ahead
• Keep the CRM booking data up to date
• Work closely with the Restaurant General Managers and Head Chefs to deliver a consistently excellent experience

Required profile

• 2+ years' experience in a hospitality Host, Front of House or Maître'D management role in a busy environment
• A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
• Ability to inspire trust and motivate others
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Experience using CRM booking systems and table management
