Restaurant Runner

About the role

The Hoxton, Shoreditch is hiring a Runner for its Il Bambini Club, a festive trattoria born in Paris and now open in London, known for live music, bold interiors and Italian flavours. The Runner supports the front-of-house team so that dishes and drinks reach guests promptly and efficiently, working closely with the Waiters, Kitchen and wider restaurant team.

Key responsibilities

• Support the front-of-house team throughout service, delivering food and drinks to the right tables promptly and efficiently
• Be attentive, friendly and ready to help guests wherever needed
• Act as a link between the kitchen, bar and floor team, communicating clearly and responding quickly to requests
• Keep the restaurant organised and service areas clean and well stocked
• Learn the menu, products and service standards so you can support the team and answer basic guest questions

Required profile

• 2+ years of previous experience in a busy restaurant or bar
• A positive, energetic approach and a willingness to learn
• Hands-on, fast-paced service style and a team player who enjoys sharing a laugh
• Previous experience in a busy restaurant, bar or hospitality environment is a plus
