About the role

The Retail Management Graduate Programme at Decathlon UK is a fast‑paced, 12‑month development journey that immerses graduates in store operations, customer service and leadership. Starting as a Sport Advisor, you will learn Decathlon’s culture, values and operational standards before progressing to management responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Month 1‑3: Serve as a Sport Advisor, delivering customer excellence, managing deliveries, stock and store layout.
• Month 4‑5: Act as Duty Manager (Shift Captain), ensuring safety, overseeing store flow, making real‑time resource decisions.
• Month 4‑5: Begin Department Management exposure, recruiting, onboarding and motivating team members.
• Month 6 onward: Transition to Department Manager, handling commercial dynamics, P&L oversight and economic analysis.

Required profile
