Retail Manager – Toyota Dealership

About the role

We are seeking a Retail Manager to lead our Toyota dealership in Cheltenham. The role covers Monday to Saturday working hours (8:30 am‑6:00 pm Mon‑Fri, 8:30 am‑5:00 pm Sat) with rotating Sunday shifts (10:00 am‑4:00 pm). You will be responsible for driving sales gross profit, particularly through finance, insurance and value‑added products, while providing a high level of customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Grow dealership gross profit by focusing on finance, insurance and ancillary product sales.
• Advise customers on finance options, insurance, warranties and other dealership services.
• Ensure all customer agreements are clear, accurate and FCA‑compliant.
• Coach and support the sales team to improve performance.
• Prepare and submit finance proposals to nominated lenders.
• Maintain precise documentation in line with manufacturer and finance house requirements.

Required profile

• Current or aspiring retail/sales manager with a proven sales record.
• Confident discussing individual and corporate finance needs.
• Highly organised with attention to FCA and paperwork compliance.
• Motor‑trade or automotive experience preferred but not essential; full training provided.
