Retail Performance & Operations Manager – North Europe

About the role

The Retail Performance & Operations Manager – North Europe will support day‑to‑day store operations, drive operational excellence and act as a strategic partner to store managers across the region. Based in London, you will ensure consistent standards, optimise in‑store processes and protect product assets.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain impeccable stock management, plan and conduct inventories, and optimise back‑of‑house operations.
• Foster an omni‑channel approach, supporting initiatives that increase retail efficiency.
• Lead regional projects, execute business initiatives and oversee store openings and closures.
• Train store teams on operational and stock‑management best practices.
• Oversee store facility maintenance and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.
• Act as a strategic business partner to store and retail managers to drive performance.
• Support cross‑functional initiatives such as cross‑selling, client focus and clienteling.
• Ensure compliance with internal control audits, LVMH standards and external regulations.
• Optimize staff planning to match traffic peaks and business needs.
• Assist the Retail Director in monitoring operational costs and identifying optimisation opportunities.
• Manage inventory and ordering of non‑merchandise products (packaging, uniforms, tools, stationery) ensuring compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in retail operations management.
• Ability to work closely with store managers and retail teams.
• Strong analytical and process‑optimization skills.
• Experience managing stock, inventories and back‑of‑house operations.
• Familiarity with omni‑channel retail environments.
• Experience leading regional projects and store openings/closings.
• Capability to train and develop store staff.
• Knowledge of internal control, compliance audits and LVMH standards.
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
