Retail Supervisor

About the role

As a Retail Supervisor at JD Sports you will help keep the shop floor running smoothly while delivering the high‑service standards our customers expect. You will lead by example, guide colleagues during each shift and support daily operational tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver excellent JD service by supporting customers, resolving queries and ensuring team presentation meets brand expectations.
• Support sales performance by monitoring service levels, using in‑store devices to showcase the full product range and assisting with effective product placement.
• Maintain strong visual and operational standards by keeping the shop floor clean, organised and aligned with JD’s brand.
• Assist with daily operational duties including opening and closing procedures, cashing up and accurate till operations.

Required profile

• Previous supervisory or team‑leader experience in fast‑paced retail or customer‑facing environments.
• Strong communication skills with confidence to guide and support colleagues on the shop floor.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to uphold high standards in service, presentation and store operations.
• Passion for retail.
