RIBA Part 3 Architect - Infrastructure & Public Realm

About the role

A well-established, design-led architecture practice specialising in transport, infrastructure and active travel is looking for a qualified architect (Part 3) to join its central London studio. The team is medium-sized and collaborative, with the option to work from home one day per week. The role suits someone with experience in infrastructure, transport design or public realm, or a strong interest in them.

Key responsibilities

• Work with an in-house team of architects and designers across early RIBA stages
• Take part in design development, coordination and production of drawings, technical reports and presentation materials
• Support large-scale, multidisciplinary projects alongside external consultants such as engineers, planners and environmental specialists
• Contribute to both conceptual and delivery-focused work

Required profile

• Qualified architect (Part 3) with at least 4 years of post-Part III experience
• Strong interest in infrastructure, public realm and placemaking
• Experience working to design standards and technical specifications
• Right to work in the UK
• Bonus points for experience on strategic-scale studies or early-stage infrastructure projects, and for being self-motivated, organised and detail-oriented

Required skills

• Excellent communication and drawing skills
• Collaborative approach with co-designers and consultants
• Revit, AutoCAD or MicroStation (preferred), plus Microsoft Office and Adobe or Affinity Suite
• Bonus: 2D MicroStation or 3D AECOSIM
