Room Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Room Attendant to join our award‑winning team at The Dorchester, a luxury hotel in London recognised for its excellence. In this role you will contribute to creating memorable guest experiences by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene and service throughout our guest rooms and public areas.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and refresh guest rooms to the hotel’s five‑star standards, ensuring immaculate cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, special set‑ups and occasion‑specific supplies.
• Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures, handling linen, amenities and equipment safely.
• Work shift‑based schedules, covering early morning to late afternoon shifts, seven days a week as required.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality standards.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Good time‑management to complete room turnovers within allocated periods.
• Physical stamina to lift, move and be on your feet for most of the shift.
• Team‑oriented attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
