Salaried General Practitioner (GP) – Full/Part Time

About the role

We are looking for a salaried General Practitioner to join Minehead Medical Centre, delivering NHS primary and urgent care to the local community. The role can be full‑time (40 hours) or part‑time and offers the chance to work in a supportive, values‑led team in a beautiful coastal setting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct telephone, face‑to‑face and home‑visit appointments, typically 15 minutes each.
• Provide both planned and urgent primary care, following evidence‑based practice.
• Understand the local patient population to deliver high‑quality, patient‑focused care.
• Collaborate with the wider multidisciplinary team to manage long‑term and complex health conditions.

Required profile

• Registered with the GMC, on the GP Specialty Register and NHS Performers List.
• Post‑CCT experience in primary or urgent care.
• Passionate about delivering NHS services and thriving in a dynamic organisation.
• Organised, proactive and able to balance clinical and operational duties.
