About the role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Sales Account Manager to join a fast‑growing distributor based in Guildford. The role focuses on developing existing customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities and maximising account value within a fast‑paced commercial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build and develop relationships with existing customers.
• Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Analyse buying patterns and customer data.
• Proactively contact customers to maximise account growth.
• Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, support and operations teams.
• Maintain excellent customer service and account management standards.
• Support revenue growth through effective account development.

Required profile

• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach.
• Comfortable analysing data and identifying sales opportunities.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Previous sales or account management experience beneficial but not essential.
