Sales Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Sales Administrator to join a family‑owned manufacturer of window and door hardware. The role is office‑based, Monday‑Friday, and focuses on producing accurate quotations and supporting the sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Answer customer enquiries by phone and email.
• Prepare and process accurate quotations and orders.
• Follow up quotes to convert leads into sales.
• Identify upsell opportunities and recommend additional products.
• Maintain up‑to‑date customer records and quotation information.
• Dispatch product samples and information to customers.
• Assist the sales team during peak periods.
• Develop thorough knowledge of the company’s product range.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a customer‑facing sales or estimating role.
• Professional telephone manner and strong communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude towards customer service and sales opportunities.
• Experience in construction, trade, hardware or building products is a plus.
