Sales Associate – Jewellery Retail (Part‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our Asian jewellery shop in London. The role involves helping customers choose jewellery that fits their style, budget and cultural preferences while delivering excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming shopping environment.
• Assist shoppers in selecting jewellery, explaining product features, materials, craftsmanship and pricing.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
• Handle customer inquiries, special orders and after‑sales service requests.
• Maintain attractive, organised displays and monitor inventory levels.
• Secure jewellery items and follow store handling procedures.
• Support opening and closing duties, including cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Build positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business.

Required profile

• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in jewellery, luxury goods or fashion.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent customer service orientation and sales aptitude.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment and handle cash accurately.
• Reliability, attention to detail and honesty.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.
• Additional language skills common in the local Asian community are a plus.
