Sales Co-ordinator – Sports Tours & Travel

About the role

This hybrid Sales Co-ordinator position is based in our Gloucester office and supports Destination Sport’s partnership with England Rugby, Scottish Rugby, The R&A, EPCR and the British & Irish Lions. You will work closely with the Rugby Football Union to develop stakeholder relationships and drive new sales for England Rugby Travel, England Sports Tours and Lions Rugby Travel.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, marketing, travel and accommodation teams to design market‑leading experiential tour itineraries.
• Contribute to sales targets for England Rugby Travel, England Sports Tours and Lions Rugby Travel.
• Build and nurture relationships with schools, clubs, colleges and universities to keep the brands top‑of‑mind.
• Own a portfolio of clients, expand the database of contacts and generate new leads.
• Monitor sales figures, deliver timely quotes and convert enquiries into sales.
• Develop innovative, customer‑focused tour products that match market demand.
• Analyse competition and industry trends to keep the offering competitive.
• Travel domestically and internationally to meet existing and prospective clients.

Required profile

• Strong passion for sport, particularly rugby union.
• Experience in schools or clubs tour sales is desirable but not essential.
• Proven sales experience with confident presentation skills.
• Ability to build effective relationships both inside and outside the business.
• Team‑player attitude, willing to support colleagues to achieve targets.
