Sales / Commercial Director – Strategic Leadership Role

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales / Commercial Director to shape and execute our sales strategy. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will drive growth by identifying new revenue streams, expanding existing client relationships, and supporting product development.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to uncover new business opportunities and emerging trends.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for market entry and expansion.
• Build and nurture relationships with corporate clients, trade distributors and key partners.
• Negotiate and close deals aligned with strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with Operations to relay customer feedback influencing product design and stock levels.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure alignment with financial and strategic goals.
• Lead, motivate and develop multiple sales teams across group brands.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or similar, preferably in B2B/retail.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics and requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a track record of successful negotiations.
• Experience within the manufacturing sector or a comparable industry.
