Sales Director - Electronics

About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven Sales Director with a strong background in electronics, engineering or technical solutions. The role will lead a high‑performing sales organisation across the UK and Ireland, shaping strategy and driving revenue growth for a fast‑growing international technology business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the company’s sales and growth strategy.
• Lead, coach and inspire a multi‑disciplinary sales team of managers, field engineers and internal sales staff.
• Drive revenue, margin and profit growth across existing and new customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Champion effective CRM utilisation and sales pipeline management.
• Generate new business and design‑win activity.
• Implement robust forecasting processes and performance measurement.
• Identify market opportunities and develop targeted growth initiatives.
• Align customer requirements with technical solution offerings.

Required profile

• Degree‑qualified in engineering or a technical discipline.
• Proven success leading and developing high‑performing sales teams.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering revenue growth.
• Experience within electronics, technical components or engineering solutions.
• Strategic thinker with operational excellence.
