Sales Director – North East England

About the role

We are seeking an inspirational Sales Director to lead the commercial agenda of an award‑winning print, marketing and point‑of‑sale solutions provider. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will shape strategy, win national accounts and drive sustainable growth across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a commercial sales strategy aligned with ambitious growth targets.
• Lead, mentor and build a high‑performing sales team, fostering a culture of accountability.
• Identify and secure new business with national and enterprise‑level clients.
• Maintain and grow long‑term relationships with strategic accounts and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with marketing, production and operations to ensure seamless customer experience.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
• Manage KPI reporting, forecasting and pipeline management.
• Represent the business at industry events and client meetings.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Sales Director, Head of Sales or Commercial Director.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing growth strategies.
• Strong background in business development and winning high‑value accounts.
• Excellent leadership and relationship‑building skills.
