Sales Engineer – Technical Sales (Water Treatment, EPC)

About the role

We are looking for a technical sales professional to join our growing team as a Sales Engineer. In this newly created role you will own the development of new business across the EPC market, focusing on water‑treatment projects throughout the UK and Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with EPC contractors.
• Build relationships with consultants, contractors and end‑users to uncover future projects.
• Engage customers early in the project lifecycle to influence specifications.
• Manage opportunities from enquiry through quotation, negotiation and award.
• Collaborate with engineering colleagues to create compliant, commercially viable solutions.
• Review technical specifications and drawings to ensure proposed systems meet requirements.
• Prepare quotations, tenders and technical proposals.
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and contribute to business growth.

Required profile

• Motivated technical sales professional with experience selling into the EPC market.
• Proven ability to manage consultative sales cycles and long‑term projects.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with consultants, contractors and end‑users.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to the head office and customer sites.

Required skills

• Experience in water‑treatment solutions.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
• Consultative sales approach with strong commercial awareness.
