Sales & Lettings Negotiator

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales & Lettings Negotiator to join our growing independent estate agency in Gillingham. The successful candidate will manage both residential sales and lettings, delivering a high‑quality customer experience from first contact to completion. This role offers a clear path for career progression within a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through canvassing, prospecting and referrals.
• Register and qualify buyers and tenants.
• Conduct property viewings and negotiate sales and tenancy offers.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, landlords, buyers and tenants.
• Carry out market appraisals where experience allows.
• Progress sales and lettings transactions through to completion.
• Maintain applicant databases and CRM systems.
• Meet and exceed branch KPIs while delivering exceptional customer service.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an estate agency, either sales, lettings or both.
• Confident communicator with strong negotiation abilities.
• Target‑driven and motivated to win new business.
• Professional appearance and customer‑focused attitude.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
