Sales Manager – Financial Services (Hybrid, £61k)

About the role

Our client in the financial services sector is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead their internal sales team. This fixed‑term position offers a hybrid working model and a competitive salary of £61,000 per year. The role starts in September and runs for a minimum of 12 months, covering maternity leave.

Key responsibilities

• Provide line management and coaching for the internal sales team, including team leaders.
• Oversee workflow, staff competency, and training needs.
• Maximise business opportunities across regions through telephone teams.
• Support field and internal sales with complex broker queries and escalations.
• Plan and deliver onboarding and training for new team members.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
• Collaborate with Operations to improve efficiency and customer outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience within sales or financial services.
• Demonstrated people‑management skills, including coaching and mentoring.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Flexible, proactive, and committed to high performance.
• Solution‑focused mindset and strong organisational skills.
