Sales Support Coordinator – Engineering

About the role

This position supports the Commercial Director and Sales Manager within a fast‑growing engineering company. You will act as a key liaison between the sales team and customers, ensuring smooth communication and efficient project tracking. The role combines administrative duties with customer‑facing responsibilities in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Commercial Director and Sales Manager with daily tasks and strategic initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Perform sales administration, including monitoring project delays, checking status, and liaising with clients.
• Provide general information and handle commercial calls as required.
• Drive documentation control and ensure adherence to established processes.

Required profile

• Proficient use of Microsoft Office on a daily basis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and suppliers.
• Some knowledge of the engineering sector is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude with a “can‑do” mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high accuracy.

What we offer

• Competitive salary between £24,500 and £25,000 per year.
• Working hours: Monday‑Thursday 9:00‑17:30, Friday 9:00‑15:30.
