About the role
EdStaff is looking for a professional, highly organised School Administrator to join the busy office of a primary school in Crosby. The role runs for one term (September‑December 2026) and offers the chance to be the first point of contact for pupils, parents, visitors and staff while ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome visitors with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Answer telephone and email enquiries promptly.
- Provide administrative support to the senior leadership team and wider school staff.
- Maintain accurate pupil records and manage data entry.
- Process attendance, admissions and related paperwork.
- Handle correspondence, filing and general office duties.
- Follow school policies, including safeguarding procedures.
Required profile
- Friendly, approachable and presentable.
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Calm and resilient in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with all levels.
- High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Required skills
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Accurate data entry and record‑keeping.
- Effective telephone and email handling.
