School Administrator (Term Time) – Reception & PA Support

About the role
This part‑time, term‑time position offers a rewarding blend of front‑of‑house and executive support within a friendly school environment. You will be the first point of contact for parents, pupils and visitors while providing high‑level administrative assistance to the Headteacher.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the busy school reception, answer enquiries and direct visitors.
- Provide PA support to the Headteacher, including diary management and correspondence.
- Coordinate Governing Board meetings, prepare agendas and record minutes.
- Maintain pupil records and keep school information systems up to date.
- Assist with school communications, organise events and support trips.
- Handle general office administration and day‑to‑day operational tasks.
- Ensure confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
Required profile
- Previous experience in administration or as a personal assistant.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
- Friendly, professional and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload and work with discretion.
- Right to work in the UK.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
