Seasonal Sales Assistant (Festive)

About the role

Footasylum is hiring a Seasonal Sales Assistant for its Newcastle store for a 7-week festive contract, starting Sunday 15 November 2026 and ending Saturday 2 January 2027. The role is part-time at 8 hours per week, with rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday, and pays between £8.00 and £12.71 per hour plus a 30% staff discount.

Key responsibilities

• Style complete fits, helping customers discover footwear, clothing and accessories
• Support festive shopping with product recommendations and expert advice
• Learn the brands, trends and stories behind the products
• Support key trading events such as Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Boxing Day
• Contribute to store targets and build customer confidence
• Keep the store tidy, stock organised and welcoming

Required profile

• Customer-focused and confident, able to connect with customers
• Knows what is trending and brings personality to the shop floor
• Right to work in the UK; applicants under 18 cannot work past 10pm due to working regulations
