Secondary Supply Teacher – Flexible Work in Buckinghamshire

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and adaptable Secondary Supply Teacher to provide flexible, day‑to‑day cover across a range of secondary schools in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. The role starts in September and involves teaching across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons using pre‑prepared materials across a variety of subjects.
• Provide high‑quality classroom cover in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
• Follow each school’s policies and procedures while ensuring continuity of learning.

Required profile

• Previous experience teaching or supervising students in a secondary school setting.
• Confidence covering a range of general subjects across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) is desirable but not mandatory.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
