Security Engineer – Enterprise Markets

About the role

Gamma is looking for a client‑focused Security Engineer to join its Enterprise Markets team. Working in a managed‑service environment, you will lead vulnerability management and network security initiatives for large‑scale enterprise customers across the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver end‑to‑end vulnerability management services, from discovery to remediation tracking.
• Operate and maintain scanning tools such as Qualys, Nessus and Rapid7 across multiple client environments.
• Perform regular scans, validate findings, re‑test after remediation and eliminate false positives.
• Prioritise vulnerabilities using risk‑based methodologies (CVSS, exploitability, business impact, threat intelligence).
• Track remediation activities and ensure closure within agreed SLAs.
• Support firewall optimisation, access‑control policies and broader security frameworks including MDR, SASE and Zero‑Trust architectures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in vulnerability management and network security engineering within a managed‑service provider setting.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and ability to communicate technical findings to non‑technical audiences.
• Hands‑on, proactive approach to reducing security risk and improving cyber‑resilience.
