Selector Ambient Days - 5am Start

About the role

As a Selector in Aldi's ambient and chiller sections, you will work early mornings to pick products accurately and keep the store’s supply chain moving. You will receive instructions via headset, handle paperwork, and operate equipment safely in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Select products to meet daily picking targets.
• Follow instructions carefully and double‑check paperwork for accuracy.
• Operate Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently (training provided).
• Maintain safety standards and contribute to a high‑energy work floor.

Required profile

• Hardworking and able to perform physical, fast‑paced tasks.
• Reliable, flexible and able to work a rotating shift pattern, including weekends.
• Strong attention to detail, especially when handling stock.

Required skills

• Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) operation

What we offer

• £14.93 per hour with pay rises linked to tenure.
• Shift pattern 05:00 am – 14:00 pm (hours may vary).
• 30‑hour minimum contract, 5 days a week with one in three weekends off.
