SEN Learning Support Assistant – Specialist Provision (Epsom)

About the role
We are looking for a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist provision within a mainstream secondary school in Epsom. You will work closely with teaching staff and SEN professionals to help pupils with moderate learning difficulties access the curriculum and develop socially, emotionally, and academically.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group support to pupils with additional needs.
- Assist in delivering a tailored, hybrid curriculum that meets individual learning goals.
- Support students’ social, emotional and academic development.
- Collaborate with teachers and SEN specialists to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Help maintain structured classroom routines and behaviour management strategies.
Required profile
- Passion for supporting young people with additional needs.
- Experience working with children, young people or individuals with SEN (desirable but not essential).
- Caring, patient and resilient nature.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
