SEN/ SEND Tutor – Flexible Teaching Roles in Cambridgeshire

About the role

Join Targeted Provision as a SEN/ SEND Tutor to deliver personalised Maths, English or Science tuition for young people with SEND and SEMH needs. You will work flexibly across in‑person, online and hybrid settings, supporting learners from KS1 to KS5 within a 45‑minute travel radius of Cambridge.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver trauma‑informed tutoring sessions tailored to individual needs.
• Provide flexible teaching options – in‑person, remote or hybrid – based on pupil and school requirements.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and create a safe learning environment.
• Collaborate with local schools and authorities to track progress and adjust support.
• Document sessions and communicate outcomes to parents and professionals.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years teaching experience, preferably with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding practices.
