About the role
We are looking for a passionate SEN Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Kent. You will support students with diverse needs, helping them unlock their potential in an environment where creativity and compassion are valued.
Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver inclusive, differentiated lessons that build confidence and achievement.
- Create structured, nurturing classroom settings that provide clarity and consistency.
- Collaborate with staff, families, and external specialists to develop and implement individualized support plans.
- Support pupils with EHCPs, SEMH, neurodiversity, and a range of academic, emotional, and sensory needs.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to the school’s SEN strategy.
Required profile
- Warm, confident teacher who quickly builds trust with students.
- Strong knowledge of SEN principles and a proactive, solution‑focused mindset.
- Ability to adapt learning for academic, emotional, sensory, or other specialised requirements.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Commitment to ensuring every student feels successful and valued.
