About the role
Join a forward‑thinking primary school in Tower Hamlets as a Specialist Inclusion Class teacher. You will lead a small, dedicated class of up to ten pupils with complex learning needs, delivering personalised, high‑quality education within a supportive mainstream environment.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual SEND requirements.
- Lead a class of 10 pupils, collaborating closely with experienced Teaching Assistants.
- Monitor pupil progress, adapt provision and ensure emotional wellbeing.
- Work with families and external professionals to achieve the best outcomes for each child.
- Collaborate with the parallel SEND teacher to share best practices across the provision.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching pupils with SEND in mainstream or specialist settings.
- Passion for inclusive education and ability to foster independence and confidence.
