SEN Teacher – Specialist School in Greenwich

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a specialist provision in Greenwich. The role involves teaching small groups of pupils aged 4‑19 with a wide range of complex special educational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver highly differentiated lessons for pupils with autism, severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple learning difficulties, and related communication needs.
• Work towards each pupil’s EHCP outcomes, promoting independence and positive behaviour.
• Collaborate closely with therapists, support staff and families to ensure holistic support.
• Maintain a structured, engaging learning environment that encourages meaningful progress.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a proven track record of teaching pupils with SEN.
• Experience with a variety of needs, especially autism, SLD, PMLD or complex needs (desirable).
• Ability to commute easily to Greenwich and start immediately.
