SEN Teaching Assistant – Full‑time, Chiswick

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Chiswick on a full‑time basis from September. You will support pupils with a variety of special educational needs, including autism and behavioural challenges, helping them achieve their personal and academic goals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group mentoring for pupils with SEN.
• Implement positive behaviour management strategies.
• Assist with personal care tasks when required.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to adapt learning activities.
• Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and behaviour.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an SEN or care setting.
• Confidence working with pupils who display challenging behaviours.
• Ability to deliver personal care with dignity and respect.
• Calm, patient and resilient attitude.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
