SEN Teaching Assistant – Full‑time (South Croydon)

About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs across schools in South Croydon and surrounding areas. This full‑time, temporary position runs from September 2026 until the end of the academic year.
Key responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day support to pupils with SEN, adapting activities to individual needs.
- Assist classroom teachers in planning and delivering inclusive lessons.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and up‑to‑date safeguarding training.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies as required.
Required profile
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and flexible with a strong can‑do attitude.
- Experience working with children and young people, particularly those with SEN.
- Relevant degree and safeguarding training completed within the last year.
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two professional child‑related references covering the last two years.
Required skills

- Competitive daily rate of £90‑£115.
