SEND Cover Teacher – North West London (Daily & Long‑Term)

About the role

We are seeking adaptable SEND Cover Teachers to provide daily and long‑term supply across specialist schools in North West London. The role suits qualified teachers who are comfortable working in a variety of SEND environments and can start immediately.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in specialist settings.
• Manage classroom behaviour using calm, structured approaches.
• Collaborate closely with SEND Teaching Assistants and support staff.
• Adapt learning to meet EHCP targets and individual pupil needs.
• Support pupils with diverse communication styles and developmental levels.
• Maintain safeguarding and behaviour expectations at all times.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum two years of experience in SEND, SEN, PRU, SEMH, or specialist education.
• Flexible, resilient and able to adapt quickly to new classrooms.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Willingness to cover a range of subjects where required.
