SEND Tutor & Teacher (Maths, English, Science)

About the role

We are looking for qualified teachers to deliver maths, English or science tuition to children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs. The role is flexible, allowing you to work in‑person, online or in a hybrid format within a 45‑minute travel radius of your location. You will join a purpose‑driven team focused on trauma‑informed, student‑centred support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group tuition (in‑person, remote or hybrid) for KS1‑KS5 pupils.
• Plan, deliver and adapt lessons to meet the individual needs of learners with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, PMLD and related needs.
• Maintain accurate lesson plans, progress reports and regular feedback for students and referring schools/authorities.
• Collaborate with the SEND Support Team to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years teaching experience, preferably with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD or PMLD.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one) and two professional references.
• Right to work in the UK and knowledge of safeguarding practices.

Required skills

• Subject knowledge in English, Maths and/or Science.
