Senior Account Handler – US Property (Lloyd's Broker)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Account Handler to manage our US Property portfolio within a leading Lloyd’s brokerage. The role is front‑end technical, requiring close collaboration with brokers, clients and insurers to place risks on the open market.

Key responsibilities

• Work jointly with brokers, clients and insurers to ensure smooth placement of US property risks.
• Create accurate MRC slips and endorsements for open‑market transactions.
• Manage and service US retail brokers and clients through renewals and ongoing support.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both clients and market partners.
• Review client and market documentation to guarantee correct submissions to insurers.

Required profile

• 8+ years of London market experience in a technical account handler or broker support role for a Lloyd’s broker.
• Proven track record of producing Open Market MRC slips and endorsements for US property risks.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and tight‑deadline management.
