Senior Accountant & Client Manager – Accountancy Practice

About the role

Join one of Hampshire's fastest‑growing accountancy firms as a Senior Accountant / Client Manager. You will initially split your time between preparing accounts and reviewing work, then transition to a more strategic, mentorship‑focused position supporting the Partners.

Key responsibilities

• Review year‑end accounts, personal tax returns and P11Ds.
• Prepare statutory accounts during the initial transition period.
• Act as the go‑to reviewer for the wider team.
• Support, mentor and develop junior accountants.
• Manage workflow to ensure deadlines are met.
• Build trusted relationships with clients.
• Collaborate with Directors to improve processes and drive growth.

Required profile

• Experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Confidence producing accounts and reviewing work.
• ACA, ACCA, AAT qualified, part‑qualified or qualified by experience.
• Strong technical ability, ambition and the right attitude.
