Senior Accountant – International GA (18‑month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

We are seeking a fully qualified Senior Accountant to join our International General Accounting team in Glasgow on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract. You will ensure accurate management accounts, support process improvements, and help integrate newly acquired entities into our central finance framework.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with regional finance teams to deliver accurate results and reporting.
• Support the integration of newly acquired entities into group accounting processes.
• Prepare and post journal entries on schedule.
• Assist with month‑end reconciliations and work closely with offshore teams.
• Provide commentary on monthly and quarterly P&L, balance sheet, and cash‑flow statements.
• Help centralise accounting tasks and drive process enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and contribute to ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, ICAS, etc.).
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Flexible attitude with the capacity to adapt to change.
• Confidence to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with US GAAP, SOX, or professional services is a plus.
