Senior Accountant

About the role

Luca Faloni is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Kensington, London. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and supporting strategic financial planning for a rapidly expanding luxury brand.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to aid business decision‑making.
• Collaborate with internal teams to analyse financial data, identify trends and provide insights.
• Ensure tax compliance and manage the preparation and filing of tax returns.
• Support the implementation and improvement of financial processes and internal controls.
• Mentor junior team members and promote their professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Relevant professional qualification (ACCA highly preferred).
• Proven experience in a senior accounting role, preferably within retail or luxury goods.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced use of the MS Office Suite.
