Senior Accountant

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based in our Liverpool office. As a Senior Accountant you will prepare management and year‑end accounts, work on personal and corporate tax returns and may take part in audit assignments if you wish. The role offers the chance to manage client relationships and progress your career within a respected practice.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts for a portfolio of clients.
• Compile year‑end financial statements in line with UK GAAP.
• Handle personal and corporation tax computations and filings.
• Assist with audit work where interest and capacity allow.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

Required profile

• Knowledge of Financial Reporting and UK GAAP.
• Understanding of personal and corporation tax.
• Typically 5+ years of practice experience (slightly less considered for newly qualified).
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, FCA or ACCA are highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving and organisational abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
