Senior Associate / Associate Director – Vertical Transportation (London)

About the role

Hoare Lea is seeking a Senior Associate or Associate Director to join its Vertical Transportation team, preferably based in London. The role leads a team delivering site‑based services such as asset management, construction monitoring and witness testing, while also contributing to project design and client interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team supporting site services.
• Manage asset management programmes for vertical transport assets.
• Oversee construction monitoring and witness testing activities.
• Contribute to project design and provide technical input.
• Maintain client relationships and act as a primary point of contact.
• Collaborate with specialist engineers and consultants across residential, commercial, research and education sectors.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in vertical transportation or related building services.
• Strong background in site‑based activities, asset management and construction monitoring.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage client‑facing responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and collaborative working style.
