Senior Associate

About the role

Birketts LLP is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Private Client Division in Cambridge. You will work within a nationally recognised team that advises individuals, families and trustees on wealth protection, succession planning and complex personal matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide bespoke legal advice on trusts, estates, tax planning and family law matters.
• Manage and coordinate multi‑disciplinary matters involving corporate structures and business interests.
• Draft and review legal documents, including wills, trusts, and court applications.
• Liaise with clients to build long‑term relationships and ensure continuity of service.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Birketts’ seven offices to deliver integrated solutions.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with several years of experience in private client work.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex, high‑value matters with technical excellence.
• Strong commercial awareness and client‑focused approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
