Senior Audio Visual Technician

About the role

proAV Ltd is seeking a Senior Audio Visual Technician to lead the day‑to‑day AV service at a key client site in Birmingham. As the sole onsite representative you will combine hands‑on technical support with meeting and event assistance, ensuring a reliable and professional AV environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary onsite contact for all AV matters, delivering responsive service and maintaining trusted relationships with client stakeholders.
• Provide first‑ and second‑line support for the AV and Unified Communications estate, including Microsoft Teams Rooms, presentation systems and digital signage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults, escalating when necessary with clear information.
• Perform daily checks of priority rooms, monitor equipment condition, record incidents and keep service documentation up to date.
• Support executive meetings, town halls, hybrid events and livestreams by preparing rooms, testing equipment and coordinating with events teams and third‑party suppliers.
• Coordinate engineering, project and event resources, prioritize work by business impact and produce monthly service reports.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and ensure compliance with client and proAV standards.
